At 93, I feel very vulnerable security-wise in my own home, even though my family are close by.

I often didn’t sleep, distracted by nosies outside, for fear of an intruder I know I would not be able to tackle.

Having the reassurance of knowing that a security car is patrolling through the night, my wellbeing, especially my sleep, has improved considerably.

The panic button app gives me reassurance that if I need help, someone who has experience with security will be on hand instantly to support me.

I also feel reassured by knowing that there is medical equipment in the patrol cars given how long services can take in emergency situations.

I have had the need to contact the security team when my alarm failed, to check on my property and this gave me considerable piece of mind.

At £3 a day this is a service, even as a pensioner, I feel has been worth the money to make me feel safer and supported to maintain my independence in my own home.

We are total converts to the service after seeing the impact it has had to reduce burglaries and generally make us feel safer in our own home.

In the past we have been the victims of car theft whilst in the house and despite owning a very vigilant dog – on that occasion they did not alert us to what was going on.

It is really reassuring to know that our house is secure whilst we sleep and particularly when one of us, especially our children, are home alone. Having had the experience of being called to a neighbour in cardiac arrest and perform CPR, now knowing a life saving defibrillator is on our doorstep is another reassurance. It took over 20 mins for an ambulance to come on that occasion and had we had the service we have now the outcome could have been very different.

I have noticed from the police messaging that burglaries have not stopped in [Redacted Area Name] but have moved away from our area. Not good for others but does show the impact of having very visible security on hand.

Having been initially very hesitant about this service, I have now done a complete U-turn.

The reassurance of having the patrol car watching our house when we are away, or when one of us is alone in the house overnight is so reassuring.

As a medical family, having a defibrillator in the patrol cars, hopefully never needed, means prompt medical treatment options are close by.

We are so grateful for the first class service that LSS provide. I have shared our experience with neighbours and in particular when a member of the family returned home exhausted and forgot to close the garage door!

We were contacted and the team kept a vigilant eye on our house and garage until early morning.

I feel so much safer in the house now, especially if my husband is travelling and I am on my own. My daughters also feel the same if they are in the house on their own.

I wanted to share my appreciation for the newly started security patrol scheme and encourage others to consider joining.

While we were away in New Zealand, our alarm went off unexpectedly and the team were on site within minutes. They contacted me directly and kept me informed throughout, which was hugely reassuring when we were so far away.

They’ve also secured parcels left outside for us, and it’s comforting to know they can be contacted during the night if anything feels suspicious.

They are a dedicated team with a proven record of deterring crime. Crime and burglaries have become much harder to carry out in [Redacted], which is why a friend on [Redacted] told me their area has recently introduced the LSS scheme as offenders are being pushed to look elsewhere.

I’d highly recommend considering joining so we can continue helping to keep burglaries and car thefts away from our area.

We had an attempted break in at 3.45am. There were 4 people trying to crowbar the garage open. I triggered the panic button and Anass came. They escaped on bikes but thank you to Anass for getting to us so quickly.

I was walking home from a friends house and it was very late. The security guard spotted me, chatted and drove alongside me until I got home. I was not expecting him to do this but just want to say it was much appreciated. Thank you.

Officer Hakim has been genuinely caring. He’s always shown so much respect to myself, my family and home. I got back from my holiday and saw that my parcel was left in a safe place and my bins were placed in and out. It’s not that we expect it but this kindness is deeply appreciated. I wanted to drop you a note to say I am thoroughly impressed with the new security team. I have seen a huge improvement in (the levels of) anti-social behaviour from non-residents entering the estate.

I’ve witnessed the security team challenge youths entering the estate a number of times, escorting them away from the estate. Likewise, the fact they continue to do rounds across the estate helps greatly with stamping out anti-social behaviour and provide reassurance to residents.

I appreciate managing an estate can probably be a thankless task at times however, I just wanted to pass on some positive feedback.

I would like to praise Sofiane. He is always on time and very friendly. He is very helpful and really does a brilliant job so please pass on my thanks for his outstanding professionalism and service.

I have to say, Magdy was amazing yesterday. He checked my son was okay when he fell off his scooter. He also called me when he saw my car’s passenger door was open in the driveway. This was exceptional. Thanks to him, Ali, Karim for their amazing service.

I just wanted to say thank you. I know a room full of 13-year-olds is probably not the most challenging of security jobs but your team were both very professional and friendly to all so thank you again.
